The people of Mesopotamia build ziggurats because Ziggurats were built to reach nearer the heavens. The perpouse of This was so the gods could be contacted and worshiped. What i discover was that the ziggurat where very important at that time because gods could contacted and do there work .
One of the thing that i learn was that in mesopotamia that the gods where very powerful. And the mesotamia people though that they need to built it higher so they could be closer to the gods . That they were very powerful and rule the world .
